How We Work

Since 2009, New Day for Children has provided hope and healing to America’s sex-trafficked American children, ages 10-18. New Day for Children seeks to restore the stolen childhood of recovered sex-trafficked children. We accomplish this by providing financial support for a safe and secure living environment, tuition for school, weekly therapy, equine therapy, medical, dental, and vision care, and other essential needs. The children are enrolled in fully accredited schools with their curriculum adapted to their individual academic level and life goals.

Who We Serve

New Day for Children, alongside collaborating organizations, serves children from a wide variety of backgrounds and life experiences. Many of the children celebrate reaching goals, both academic and personal, such as high school graduation, entering college, the workplace, or life skills development programs. There is high demand for the support New Day provides, as families of young trafficking victims are most often left to fend for themselves.

Our Clients

All potential clients must be CSEC and need to make the choice to willingly participate in residential treatment. After the profile is complete, we discuss our options of placement and assess which would be the most suitable for the client. We then pass on any information that is relevant to one of our partner programs so they can move forward with their own individual process.

Who We Work With

New Day for Children partners with vetted programs that provide residential care for CSEC (Commercially Sexually Exploited Children) and youth, to assess whether one of our partnered residential placements can serve a potential youth. Our placement manager conducts a CSEC Profile with the youth’s parent/legal guardian to gather a brief history of the potential client.
